i think i need to clarify some things here. my internship is NOT SLACK. well i won't say it's hectic, but it's definitely not slack la. i realised that it's not that easy to do a statutory board analysis, especially since it's a NPO and we're kinda left to do it all by ourselves and each stat board is unique.halfway through, i realised that i was on the right direction, but on the wrong track. so i was kinda worried when everyone else was already analysing their balance sheet(weiwei has completed her report!!), and i'm still analysing the income portion of my income statement. the rest seemed to know what to do exactly, but ts and i were still wondering how we were going to explain our severe operating deficit. i could tell ts was really worried, he kept coming over to ask how to do haha. and he even fell sick!
oh and the stupid excel graphs were driving my nuts.

oh and yesterday i sounded like a complete spoilt brat in front of my boss. i felt so remorseful after that, and i still feel like an idiot now. my only consolation was that jason sounded quite spoilt too, but definitely nowhere near me sigh.

we ate lunch at the pantry yesterday and our boss came in and started chatting with us:
boss: so do u think smu or ntu is better?
me: ntu is not bad, just that it's really far
boss: so how do you go to school?
me: eh i started driving recently
boss: did u stay in hall?
me: eh yar. but i moved out coz i found it un-livable.

boss: so do u prefer smu or ntu?
jason: both are ok. but i'd rather go to ntu coz i can drive there. parking in smu is too expensive

yikessssssssssss. crap why didn't i think before i said those things!! i feel so stupid!

anyway met gan and zong for dinner last night. i realised gan has really improved on his financial knowledge! both of them were bombarding me with trading terms and i seemed so clueless. it looks like a steep learning curve ahead yikes! but at least i've learnt a bit of technical analysis this hols haha.
