i can't believe this is happening to me. i'm sick -again- bleh i was sick last wed and i fell sick again yesterday!! and it's not as if i go out all the time, it must be the horrid weather. siannnnnnnn now i have to stay home the rest of the week and there are so many things i want to do! i haven't even watched xmen and i'm dying to! nvm the bright side is, i get to save money.

anyway i was glad i stayed out yesterday despite the chilling aircon and slight sore throat coz dinner was SO damn GOOD! we ate at this super cool british pub at vivo - the queen and mangosteen =)

Food: 8.5/10
Ambience: 7.5+1/10 (1 extra mark for the super nice toilet hehe)
Service: 8/10 (we stayed there for 1 hour before we ordered sth. and the waiters were nice enough to keep refilling our water haha)
Company: 10/10 lol

feli said she saw the place featured in the papers and i saw it featured in the magazine, so we decided to check it out to celebrate yl's and ls' super belated birthdays lol. well yar and despite my sorethroat, i still drank the cocktail that they're famous for - Pimm’s & Lemonade haha, it's not bad la. there were bits of cucumber and lemon skin floating on the drink, quite cool.

and the food was great! the dips were superb really. lol. and yar i really felt quite spirited even though i wasn't exactly in tip top condition haha. we were all commenting that we were all definitely going there again! ohh and the creme brulee is ahh~ to die for. at first i was quite cynical about all that cream, but after i tasted it, haha i changed my mind immediately and heck care with fatty cream. it tasted just like custard. oh and all of us learnt of a new fruit last night - gooseberry. i didn't try it, but br and ls said it tasted a little bitter and tasted a bit like a tomato lol.

oh and br and i each bought this super cool nail buffer! it was way more than i thought it would cost. guardian sells it for $1.95, so i thought the max it would be would be about $7-9. but anyway, it was super duper effective! i buffed all my nails at river island while waiting for feli and br to shop. haha yar i know it's embarrassing to buff my nails in public, but nvm la. the nail buffer is really good! even my sis was super excited when she saw it! she couldn't wait to use it too lol

well and tonight i can't meet glori chelly and kyna coz i'm barely audible. siannnn. and i can't play squash tmr!
