so much for being 'grounded'. well, it didn't really work and i still went out all the same. haha. and yea.. i still bought stuff. but i really tried really really hard to cut it down. like on tues i went out with my sis, out of 3 nice bags i saw, i only bought 1 and i didn't buy the ipanema slippers even though i was super tempted to. and i'm glad i didn't get those stuff coz on hindsight, i don't need them at all. needs VS wants!

i think i should have done enough restoration work to my cupboard for now. i was quite depressed the other day when i stared at my half full cupboard, and it didn't help much that my sister's cupboard was exploding. my sis says i was being fussy about what clothes i wanted in my cupboard, well, i should say that my sis is just very receptive to all my random clothes.

btw i bought quite a few skirts this hols, and i might consider wearing them to school next sem since so many pple keep asking me why i don't wear skirts/dresses. sigh. shorts and berms are nice mah. haha

k anyway, i shall continue to be on 'broke' mode and i did myself proud yesterday when i only went out with $50 and not a single card. shall do that till school starts. it's really a very clever way to curb my spending habit. no money = no talk.

and who says there's a recession now?? kristin and i felt like the only pple who felt the recession (aka broke pple) when we were at orchard yesterday. pple were grabbing the clothes as though it was free and kristin was super shocked coz the clothes were still quite ex even after the discount! and the isetan queue was disgusting. when i got to gelatissimo, i felt so swarmed and completely grossed out, i had to get away from shaw. the crowd was really overwhelming. the rest of orchard wasn't that bad, but it's still really hard to believe there's a recession if you don't listen to the financial news.

and this week, i bumped into lotsa pple while i was out. and that's really weird coz usually i don't see anyone i know when i'm out. and what's even weirder is that tchs-hc guys are actually becoming more hip by frequenting town! can't believe it. just yesterday, i met 2 grps of guys from my year (but i don't know their names though.. just thought that they looked familiar) and of course there is CHAOQUN whom i suspect is stalking me!! i've alr met him 3 times this hols alone and if i'm not wrong, i bumped into him twice earlier this year. scary laaaaaaaa. and there's 72 gathering later, so i'd still see him.

oh btw... erm i'm gg to hk next week, 1-5 Jan. yes i know, but it's a really last minute spontaneous decision. my mum decided that she didn't mind going to hk, so yup, we booked the tix on xmas day. i can tell my mum's really excited coz she insisted on planning the itinerary last night. haha. alright, so i shall try my best to guide them ard. and I MUST I MUST go to H&M!!
