today was national day celebrations in school and it was quite fun. haha. everyone but one came in our red class jersey, so we looked quite united and spirited. yay! we rock la! seriously, i think our class was damn damn enthu today! rocks! even my friend said so! hahahhaa.
and during the performance, we participated in almost everything, be it quiz or performance.
1)dranice danced in the opening indian dance.
2)daryl and chaoqun participated in the first quiz.
3)ah pek and valles wore the merlion costume(which in my opinion, looked more like a big white bird costume) for the costume competition. and when they came onto stage, our class stood up to cheer for them! btw, we came in 2nd and we won $80 sakae voucher! beat that!
4)bean went up to sing some jay chou song for the second quiz.
5)during the song and dance session, our class(or rather, the girls) was one the first classes to huddle together and sway. we forgot to include the guys.. hahaha, so they tried to barge their way in(without much success), so they ended up forming their own little circle. hahahaha. but in the end, we decided not to be so mean, so both our little circles merged.
yupz, so on the whole, our class was really damn enthu today la! so we rock! hahahaha.
anyway, i got cheated of $5 just now. wasn't really anyone's fault la, but still!! coz the class was supposed to go to sentosa, and i refused to go, so i decided to go home. the bus stop was flooded with pple and it was damn damn humid, so i decided to take a cab home. THEN, after i reached home, daryl called me to tell me that they were going to rachel's house instead. YES! SO CHEATED.
anyway, my mum happened to be going somewhere near rachel's house this afternoon, so she gave me a lift there. and i had a great great great time!! well, not ALL that great coz i was pissed during one period of time, but squash saved the day! yay!
yar, went there, and realised that i only had 2 options - snooker or squash. i suck at snooker, and i didn't want to stone at the couch coz that was dumb, so i decided to try out squash. hahaha. amazing isn't it? EMILIA and SPORTS. quite unrelated topics. well, today, they converged.
so i went to play squash, started playing with huiwen first, and we more or less just fooled around coz both of us were amateurs, but somehow, i felt like knowing how to play properly, or rather, just know the basic rules of the game, so i asked daryl and he kinda just told me briefly.
somehow, i ended up playing squash with daryl and he became my shifu. hahahaha. shifu rocks! he taught me how to serve, hit the ball correctly, and was just a great coach. weijin insisted that he taught me some stuff also..hmm, maybe only the part abt strategy. hahaha.
yupz, i am not bad now ok. hahahaha. well, maybe not good enough to play a proper game with daryl or weijin, but at least i am good enough now to sustain a game and enjoy it =D
i really like squash now; quite addicted to it. i played from 3-6pm just now.. not consecutively, but i played for quite long, just couldn't get enough of it. it was really damn fun la! actually, i would have continued to play if the courts hadn't been booked by someone else. what a mood spoiler. anyway, if we still go to anyone's condo, i wanna play squash!! XP
