stupid stupid stupid firefox update. i just lost a SUPPPPPPER loong entry!! but i shall attempt to rewrite everything.
today was hci sports day and was really lame coz it's a combined sports meet for hci, tchs and nygh. lame. in the morning when i strolled towards the school compound, i saw mass of annoying white at the bus stop - ny girls. they seemed like they were magnestised to the bus stop coz they all refused to budge. sheesh. they were all clumped there in small lumps. -_-" i am anti-nanyang. so is anna. we both don't like nanyang. irritating pple. i know they are shy and coy to blatantly enter tchs(their traditional lover school), but still, for the sake of anti-ny pple like me and anna, just enter! tchs guys don't eat pple.
when i reached, none of the s72 pple had arrived yet, so i just stoned there. little tchs guys had naively sat on the seats that were allocated to the college section. haha. anyway, we managed to find really good seats initially; safe away from the sun and we had perfect view of the whole track. but the councillors had to come and insist that we move into the sun to show our enthusiasm. if dawei wasn't fac head and didn't want to run for fac exco, i wouldn't have given them a damn, i probably wouldn't even had gone anyway. sigh. kevin woke up at 8am, but rushed down coz beanie lied that the whole class was here and valles was sitting just next to us. haha. hmm, at 8am, we were already soaking in the digusting UV rays.
shortly after sports day commenced, gavin, anna, kityeng, rachel and i sneaked up to some aircon tchs classroom and started playing a few rounds of bridge. shiok. haha. but we went back soon coz we decided that we should show some enthu-ness. this year, sports day wasn't that bad coz the councillors gave us ratten fans! smart smart smart! i took 2 fans; one to block the sun and the other to fan myself. haha. now now, don't give me an evil look coz both rachel and kevin took 2 fans too. tai tai club mah, can't help it.
slack and smart s72 decided to leave early before the sports meet ended to beat the crowd, so went to KAP for brunch. i had big breakfast. LOVE IT! i finally remember why i always ordered that when i was young. it is simply the best. when i sank my teeth into my burger that was spread with grape jam, memories rushed back. big breakfast is simply the best i tell you, it really is.
then kityeng, weijin, beanie, chaoqun and i headed down to orchard with our minds set to watch a movie. but coz we were unable to decide on a film, we went to kbox instead. it was GREAT FUN! haha. addicted. got to sing some songs, but in the end, due to time constraint, i had to skip most of the songs i wanted to sing coz nobody else seemed to know the songs that i chose. so sad. but it's ok, coz i had fun. some new discoveries i made today: chaoqun can sing damn well and both chaoqun and weijin are jigopeks(perverts)
reasons why they are jigopeks:
1)when they sang tuodiao(remove your clothes) by dudewei, they were damn high and excited, both singing with much gusto and zest! i tell you, they loved that song!
2)they admitted that they have read fhm and maxim before and are totally unabashed to tell me and kityeng that they did.
3)when we watched the mtvs at kbox, they kept talking about which girl was chio instead of concentrating on the lyrics. and even when we were just strolling at orchard, they also kept talking about chio girls.
so both of them are now the official jigopeks in our class and they have even formed the jigopeks club! ewww! they tried to lure beanie into their evil cluthes, but thank goodness, beanie is guai and clean. keep it up beanie!! i hope their membership stops at 2... if not s72 will be damn sick la.
anyway, hanged around a little longer to buy my mother's day present. i had no idea it was tomorrow until gavin mentioned about getting his mum a present. but i like my present a lot! it's really cute and nice! XP speaking of my present, i am damn gek! i had to develop a photo from my phone, so i went to the photograph shop at j8. i had to use some machine to get my photo instantly developed and there was only one pathetic machine in that shop and it was occupied. the pple using it were developing 51 photos!! -__-" i almost fainted when i saw the screen. 51 photos!! i queued for half an hour to develop one measly photograph! sheesh! if you have 51 photos to develop, obviously you ask the counter pple to do it for you right?? USE YOUR BRAIN! fortunately, during my wait, i was chatting with the polaraid salesgirl. she is REALLY DAMN NICE~
anyway, when it was -finally- my turn, i realised that my phone couldn't send the photo the machine via infra-red. i almost died. but luckily, the nice salesgirl whom i was talking to offered to help me. so i sent the pic to her via mms and she used bluetooth to send the pic to the machine. SHE IS SO NICE~ really really really want to thank her!!
went to my grandparent's house for dinner. love my grandma's cooking! especially her birthday eggs! LOVE IT TO bits!! haha. spent the rest of my time there helping my grandfather and mum decide which maid my grandparents should hire. my aunt had gotten 4 bio-datas from the maid agency and i tell you, they all sucked. they failed in either looks, height, weight, language etc. just a little background info: i used to live with my grandparents until i was 13, and during my stay there, my mum had changed 14 maids, of which 2 ran away. we should enter the guinness records! haha. anyway, it's probably because my grandma is very fussy and particular about stuff and a little racist. don't get the wrong idea though! she's a GOOD AND NICE, just that she had high expectations from the maid. it was quite funny just now during dinner. you see, my grandfather likes their current maid, but only agreed to change coz my grandma threatened to move to the old folk's home if they insist on keeping the maid. so usually, he gives the maid good food, much to my grandma's distaste, so just now when my grandfather pointed at fishcake and asked what it was, my grandma snapped 'abalone' and walked into the kitchen. haha.
anyway, my grandma was kinda throwing tantrums coz she refused to help in choosing the maid, then my grandfather said softly to me 'some pple, you can discuss matters with, but some pple you just can't coz they refuse to listen', then he looked sharply at my grandma's direction and pointed discreetly to her. hahahahaha! he has such a killer sense of humour!
and guess what?? my mum is going to hire my grandparent's current maid!! finally! after 6 months of dirty floors and disgusting dinners, i can live normally again. but my mum said that the earliest earliest time she can come to my house is 2 weeks. i think it will definitely take longer than that coz my mum said that there are alot of admin stuff to be sorted out. hope they can clear it soon! can't wait for my maid to come! she's really nice! meticulous, caring and humble! i think she will be an excellent maid! i will be very nice to her! XP
then when she comes over, i can hold sleepovers at my house! haha. no need to worry about clearing the mess the next day anymore. yay!
